Cookie notice
SimpleFreeholder uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.
Public marketing pages
The public pages — the home page, pricing, and these legal pages — set no cookies at all. We measure aggregate page-view counts with Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and does not identify or track individuals.
The signed-in product
Once you sign in, we set a small number of first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to run the application. They are not used for analytics or advertising:
- Session cookie
- Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would have to sign in again on every request. Cleared when you sign out; otherwise it expires automatically.
- Security (CSRF) cookie
- Protects sign-in and form submissions against cross-site request forgery. It carries no information about you.
- Sign-in redirect cookie
- Briefly remembers which page to return you to after sign-in. It is short-lived and carries no personal data.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, UK law does not require us to ask for consent to set them. No third-party trackers run inside the authenticated product.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, the signed-in product will not be able to keep you logged in and will not work correctly. Blocking cookies has no effect on the public marketing pages, which set none.
